Splash Squad Attack is a puzzle game inspired by ChuChu Rocket! The player must guide a group of water droplets called the Splash Squad to extinguish the fire in each level. The Splash Squad walks in a straight line and turns left when they hit a wall, except around corners and on arrow tiles where they will follow the direction the arrow is pointing. Place arrows in the correct tiles to solve the puzzle!
Splash Squad Attack was created using DigiPen Institute of Technology’s ProjectFUN, a 2D game engine that generates C++ code that can be modified. This helps new students get an idea of what kind of C++ code a game will have, and lets them focus on the game design aspect of game development.
This was an individual project, so I created all the artwork, sprites and animations, designed the gameplay and modified all the code generated by the ProjectFUN game engine.
